Tree Trimming & Wrapping!

good afternoon!

the tree is trimmed
&
presents wrapped...

well, mostly anyway.

i got up early this morning
&
while it was still cool
&
most were sleeping
i assembled a cupcake wrapper garland for the tree.

then trotting back and forth
to the christmas boxes
slowly the tree looked sparkley and pretty.

i can see a bit of a green gap in the middle there,
though the tree looks better from the front but the light wasn't as good from there.

i may add a few more decorations
in the next few days,
i've still got some fimo to play with.

after breakfast
i started wrapping...
and wrapped...
went out for coffee with a friend...
came home and wrapped again.

i've still a few more to buy...
then i'll wrap again!

how about you?

naturally Carol xox

  5. Love your gifts - nice colour combination with the red and white and brown paper. Wrapping presents is our Advent calendar activity for tomorrow - I love this part of Christmas preparations... although with 26 gifts... it may take me most of the day :)

  11. Your cupcake garland looks really cute on the tree! I love the way you have wrapped some of the gifts with strips of paper around the middle. What a great way to use up scrap pieces. Why don't I ever think of things like that? See why I love blogville so much?

  13. Your tree looks beautiful! I'll be it smells divine too. When the little ones are a bit older I'd like to have a real tree too. Miss Emerson has just started crawling (!) and is delighted at the ornaments on the lower branches. I'm quite sure she would eat the pines if they were real.

Love a beautiful pile of sweetly wrapped presents too. Ten sleeps to go! :)

  15. Oh how lovely Carol. I can almost smell that beautiful pine scent of your tree... ours is an artificial tree and I long for the day when I can let my boys experience a REAL Christmas tree in the house. Your decorations look so bright and pretty, very festive indeed xo

  21. I wish I could say I was as organised with my wrapping as you are but sadly not. I have them sitting looking at me on my desk just waiting but first I need to make some tags, maybe tomorrow I will get some done and then into the post asap. I hope you are keeping cool.x
