Bunting Swap...Shabby Gorgeous!

good afternoon...

at long last
i'm going to show you the delightfully gorgeous
bunting pieces i got from rach at 'squiggley rainbow'
for the bunting swap.

thanks so much rach..i love them!

i do realise this is everybody else's
'old news'
but they're too sweet to not show you..late or not!

i still haven't decided where they're going to hang

but i went out to lincraft this morning

to get a couple of possible contenders

for the 'stringing up part'...

...large navy ric rac?

...white rope?

what do you think?

i have thought about adding a few extras too,
maybe some selvedge inspired flags?

anyway i'm in no hurry...
i think they'll be hung up after xmas sometime
when i get back from taiwan.

what have you been up to today?

have a good one....

naturally Carol xox

  1. I like the ric rac, great colour you chose! Gorgeous bunting too, you are one lucky duck!

  2. Oh your bunts are just gorgeous Carol and will look lovely strung up. I think the ric rac would be the icing on the cake :)

  3. Love the bunting! Do we get to see the quilts? or are they all boxed up for shipping?
    Love the VM Girls

  4. I love that bunting! Now I am so inspired to make some patchwork bunting of my own! I love he navy ric rac too! x

  5. I vote for the blue ric rac....Taiwan for Xmas how exciting! x

  6. I'm partial to the white rope, but the blue ric rac would be a lovely effect too, so you can't go wrong Carol :o)
Thanks for sharing your bunting loveliness with us xo

  7. I vote for the blue ric rac!! What lovely bunting, I'm sure it will add a bit of cheer to wherever you choose to hang it. Have a wonderful day :)

  8. The bunting is so gorgeous. I personally think that the blue ric rac would distract from their softness. I vote for the white rope. x

  9. Great colors! Taiwan -- how fun!

  10. White rope does it for me. They are gorgeous.
Taiwan sounds very interesting, I hope you take loads of photos for us?!

  11. Oh you're so much better at committing to these things than I am. Your Christmas "cards" sound lovely too. A heartfelt effort I am sure will be appreciated.
Thanks, as always, for popping by my blog.

  12. Navy ric rac for me! It's going to be lovely! Enjoy the beautiful weekend, Kellie xx
