hi all!
{louis vuitton
red cross monogram medicine box..}
i've been out of action the last 24 hours...
not that you would've been looking for me,
but tuesday night
i experienced a pain and called an ambulance.
it was the full 000 and all that.
the paramedics were great
and took me down the road..about 3 mins drive
to our local hospital.
they checked me all over...
put me on machines to test stuff,
i'm ok.
i got to know a few lovely blokes during the day...
ray..who only has 2 months to live..the big c,
owen..who has empheseimia..can't breathe
&
tony..with fluid in his lungs.
i was pleased to be able to walk out,
but spare a thought and a prayer
for those who you know that can't.
yes..i was in the men's ward.
it was the only bed left in the hospital
i had curtains..so i had privacy
when i needed it so it was ok.
the drs and nurses were great too
so i am thankful.
to all of you who are not feeling well today...
i'm hoping that you'll feel better very soon.
with love
naturally Carol xox
Oh Carol - how scary for you! I hope that the cause of the problem has been identified. How sensible of you to call an ambulance and get checked - I know that can be a confronting thing to do.
ReplyDeleteAnd what a blessing you must have been for those two men to have your company that night. You are very special :-)

Carol, what a terrible scare for you and your family, I'm so pleased that you have been given the all clear and are at home again. You must rest, it is so important and that's what your body is telling you to do. Paramedics are the most wonderful people, I remember when my father passed out last year they were on the scene in no time at all and worked quickly and efficiently, and all the time with a gentle sense of humour. They made us feel so much more relaxed after our shock so I can imagine how it must have been for you.
ReplyDeleteTake care, I'm sending you much love xx
Oh dear, what a scary experience that must've been! So glad to hear you are ok! Rest up and relax - you deserve it :)
ReplyDeleteOh dear! I'm so glad you're OK! Do they know what caused the pain?

ReplyDeleteOh Carol, I am truly sorry that this happened to you. Hope you are OK. It is a scary thing and makes you look at life differently. Take care.
ReplyDeleteHey so glad you are Ok....not fun to have a scare of any size.
