The Seed That Grew!

hi!

this seed was probably deposited by bird droppings

into the fork of the jacaranda tree...

and it grew

until it's bright green glossy leaves

broadcast it's existence...

it's an umbrella tree

growing in our jacaranda tree...

what the?

a weed is just a plant

growing in the wrong place at the wrong time...

so he had to go!

pulled out any weeds from your life lately?

{i find it's a constant effort!}

  1. Oh how remarkable Carol. It is amazing where plants/weeds will grow isn't it. We have a cheeky star jasmine that just winds it's way around our yard. It's latest acquisition... prime spot on top of our palm tree, way up high in the air! I really need to do more weeding in our little yard. My Mama and Mr3 always set to clearing my parent's garden of weeds every time we visit. It's a never ending job :o/ xo

  2. How amazing...a tree growing in a tree, and rather exotic ones (to me) too! It always surprises me how some things take root so perfectly in the oddest of places. I have a lot of weeding to do in our garden at the moment, must get out there very soon! Hope you have a lovely day, Carol.

  6. Literally - yep this insidious purple-flowered sticky thing that won't budge from my vege patch.

    Metaphorically - yep and although I have mixed feelings about it, I know it's for the best.

    xx's
