i do...
these reminded me of a trip down to south australia
where i saw handpainted signs at murray bridge
advertising blue irises in bunches by the roadside...
maybe they were grown there
and came all the way to queensland
to be bought by me,
this morning!
i love my vase cuff,
sent to me earlier this year
by teje..from crete,
blog owner of 'nero's post & patch'.
it covers up the waterline
giving a streamlined look to a vase of flowers..
it is unique and handmade,
from felted wool...
brilliant!

Gorgeous flowers Carol! I never buy myself flowers, but out of the blue I did the other day. They were on special for $7 and I smile everytime I look at them. $7 well spent I think :)
ReplyDeleteI love irsis - one of my fav flowers. Yes I do buy myself flowers. Actually when ever the Dear One and I have a big tiff I go out and by myself flowers to make myself feel better. He's not the flower buying type!
ReplyDeleteIrises are my second favourite flower (top of the list is lillies, third are poppys!) and these are just so beautiful. As is the vase. Love it (and the binding around it too.) xx
